These pegs are the bomb. Great grip and can hold heavy and light items with no problems.

These are excellent- I have just received the package and started using them today. I will be getting more of them!!! Far better than the plastic pegs and wooden rubbish that I have used until recently.

    Unassailably better

I’ve been using these for a month or so, and they beat cheap plastic pegs on every metric.
They have better grip, they look better, they mark the same or less (depending on how deeply you thread line into the peg), and obviously they last.
Over my lifetime I don’t expect the one-off cost of these metal pegs to trend lower than the cost of replacing ~25 broken plastic pegs a year, but they’ll save all that waste, and more importantly they’ll keep saving waste over their lifetime, which I assume will be way longer than mine.
If I had to nitpick I’d say that threading the line all the way into the peg takes a bit more finger strength than I’d like but it’s still doable.
